Once there was a

Once there was an "ugly" Snowman. Tall, Tall, Tall in the sun he melted small, small, small. He definitely didn't melt fast enough for me. This is what you get when you send your 3 year old and husband out to build a snowman. Is he not the cutest thing you have ever seen? The face and hair are spray paint and I have no idea what the arms are. Just the yard decoration I was hoping for in the front yard.

Christmas 2009

We had a great Christmas. The boys slept in to the point that we had to wake them up or else we would miss breakfast at grandma's. The first thing Talan said was "Did Santa pick up Mrs. Peeps?" He was sad to see her go. Here are a few of the photos from our day. A thank you letter from Santa!

Finally a carmera for Talan. Now he won't bug me to use mine.
Lincoln loved his horse.
Talan and his Handy Manny Backpack. He needed to take his tools to grandma's in case she needed something fixed.

A photo of Talan taking a photo of me.
Me and the boys.
I think he liked his race track.
I think all of the boys had fun with the race track.

Hot Chocolate Bar

On Christmas Eve after the Christensen Christmas Party, we came home to have a hot chocolate bar. We had hot chocolate, cookies and read christmas stories. After stories we get to open a present. Surprise it was PJs. Talan wanted to make sure Santa got some cookies and coco so we left him some and crawled into bed.
Lincoln wishing he could have some treats.

Opening PJs.
Don't they look excited!

Lincoln is so cute, he falls asleep every night sucking his 3 fingers.
Talan has to have his puppy to sleep.

Christmas Eve Party

Every year Jason's parents have a Christmas Eve Party. We always have finger food and play a game for white elephant gifts. It is always fun to just hang out and eat. Lincoln taking a snooze during dinner.
Jason having a drink from his fancy glass.
Talan wanting to open all the gifts. Having to wait to play the game is tourture.
Lincoln decied that he wants to eat during the middle of the game. Good thing grandpa didn't mind feeding him.
Jason & Talan.
Finally Talan got to roll the dice for his turn.

I forgot to mention, some of the white elephant gifts have money attached.
Who doesn't like to play with a slinky.
All of the gifts our family won.
Talan and I had alot of fun with these giant glasses.
Lincoln had to have a turn with the santa hat.
Talan's favorite prize, the box that the gifts where in.
Our best gift this year!
Just some photos we took before the party.

Move Over Betty Crocker

How hard can decorating a ginger bread house be? Well we decide that we would take on the challenge. The box said that they have an online video on how to put together, but of course my husband doesn't need instructions or a map as Talan calls them. This is what the house is supposed to look like when we are done. Lincoln is ready for the fun.
First take out all the pieces.
Apply icing to walls
Add candy for decorations.

Our finish product.
The roof falling off!
If it won't stay together, we might as well eat it.
Our poor house.
Lincoln upset because he didn't get any.
