Movie Night

Since the weather has turned cold, Talan has been a little stir crazy. I have been trying to find things for him to do since we are stuck in the house. So we decided to have a movie night. Talan picked the movie Monster Vs Aliens and he wanted to make Apple Crisp for a treat. (I think he picked apple crisp because he likes to use our apple peeler.) We had fun watching the movie and enjoyed our treat. If any one has any ideas on how to keep a 3 year old entertain while in the house I would love to hear them.

New Christmas Tradition

We now have a new Christmas tradition. Spanish Fork City has a parade of lights every year the day after Thanksgiving. We had so much fun with the Bogards and Florences. We laughed so hard at some of the floats, but the kids loved them because they threw out candy. Talan is still talking about the train that had fireworks coming out of the steam pipe. We decided that next year we would be bringing hot chocolate and goodies.
