Lincoln 9 Months

Lincoln has learned to do so many things this month. He can pull himself up to objects and walk around them. He has learned how to ride the little school bus both forward and backwards. He loves to spit at everyone and laughs because he thinks it is funny. Lincoln is also learning to feed himself crackers, carrots and green beans. He also got his first tooth on the bottom and likes to try and bite you with it. We have also learned that he doesn't like sing-a-long movies. We have this sing-a-long movie and if you put it on he cries inconsolably until you turn it off. I don't know what he is scared of but he hates it. We also had our 9 month check up with the ped and he says that he is doing wonderful and that you would never know he had a rough start. We love you Linx.

A Day Out With Thomas 2010

Going to see our favorite train THOMAS!
Jason, Talan and Thomas.
Lincoln just chilling in his stroller, while we walk around to the activities.
Buying tickets for the expensive and short train ride.

Getting a Tattoo from our favorite tattoo artist and NICU nurse Tamara.
It was so neat to run into Tamara at Thomas. She was one of the NICU Nurse that we became friends with while Lincoln was in the hospital. I love this photo. Lincoln was all smiles when he saw her.
Talan so proud of his new tat.
Talan managed to keep his Thomas tattoo on for about 2 weeks. He did this by covering it every time he took a bath and refusing to let us wash it off.
Playing with the train tables. So many trains so little time.
Jason trying to teach Talan how to properly swing a golf club.
Still practicing.
Watch out Tiger, Talan has mean putting skills.

Mavis is one of Talan's favorite Trains. Talan says that Mavis' job is to pull "Dirty Freight Cars". For some reason all the freight cars are dirty. Some one needs to go and clean those freight cars in Sodor.
Talan and Jason waiting to ride the famous Thomas.
Lincoln and I waving good-bye, as they leave on Thomas. Talan was hoping that Thomas would take them to Sodor.
Talan on Thomas.
Say CHEESE!

Talan feeling a little sad that he ended up back in Heber not Sodor.
So excited about the Jr Conductor certificate and the prize he got for visiting all the tents.
(He got the prize even though dad had to go see Sir Tophat. Talan thought he was to scary.)

This was our 2nd year going to see Thomas. Talan is a huge Thomas fan. We had a good time visiting all the tents and seeing Thomas. We even got to see Harold the Helicopter this year. He came up from Timp Hospital or so Talan seems to think. When Lincoln was sick we had a room that over looked the Helicopter pad. So at night we would watch Herold (Air Med) take off or land. Talan loved to watch it and even ask if we can go to the hospital to visit Herald. So if you ever get hurt in Sodor they may fly you to Timp. I had such a great time with the boys, hope to see you next year Thomas. SO SLEEPY!!!

Memorial Day BBQ

We got an awesome bubble maker that blows hundreds of bubbles every minute. The boys love it. Talan likes to try and pop them all and Lincoln tries to eat them all.

Lincoln eating the bubbles.

Lincoln cruising around in his walker.
Jenny and Lincoln hanging out after the bbq.
Jason and Talan getting ready to play Velcro ball.
Talan has a good arm, but not very good aim. Just ask Jason.
Poor Jason!!
Playing paddy-cakes with grandma Christensen
Lincoln and I pigging out at our 2nd BBQ of the day!
Jessica and Crew.
After eating so much food, we are all thinking that it is about time for a nap.
Lincoln and Ellie playing ball.

Just the girls and Talan. He insisted he wanted to be in the photo.

We had a very busy Memorial Day. We went to grandma and grandpa Christensen's for a lunch BBQ. We had fun eating amazing food, playing on the deck and just visiting with each other. I even accomplished getting my mother in laws amazing baked bean recipe.

That evening we headed out to Ashley and Jeremy's for the 2nd BBQ, where we manged to gorge ourselves even more. I love getting together with my friends from high school we always have a good time and a good laugh. I wish we could do it more often, but with kids and busy schedules it doesn't happen enough. The kids had a fun time jumping on the neighbors tramp and playing with their toys. I don't know what we will do next year to keep the kids entertained since Ash and Jer put up a fence. Guess will have to invite the neighbors, so the kids can play on their stuff. HA HA
We had a great day with our closest friends and family. We are so lucky to have such great people in our lives.
