Farm Day

Jess and I thought it would be fun to take the kids to Thanksgiving Point Farm, before it got to hot. Talan and Addy had fun looking at all the animals and feeding the ducks. When you go to the farm you get a free horse ride or wagon ride. Addy enjoy both rides while Talan cried and would not do either. Got to love his cautiousness, but he still had fun. It is a great activities for kids this age and it is only $3.50. I am sure we will go back before the summer is over.

Easter

Jason's birthday and Easter were just a few days apart this year so we decied that we would have a Easter/Birthday Party. Jason's parents made a great Sunday dinner for us and after we had an Easter Egg Hunt for the little boys.

A Day at the Zoo

This year Jason and Joe ended up have the Friday before Easter off so we decided that we would beat the summer crowd and take the kids to the Zoo. When we arrived at the Zoo, we found that it was SLC's Spring Break and the zoo was packed. We still had so much fun. Addy loved the Merry-go-round while Talan hated every minute of it. Talan just wanted to watch the train or go and see the elephants. The kids favorite animals were the monkeys and elephants. We had an enjoyable lunch of cold hamburgers and fries. Got to love the zoo food. (Note to self pack a lunch next year.) The kids spent a good part of the afternoon at the zoo's park and playing with the giant waterball. It was an enjoyable day and the kids seemed to love it. We finally drug them to the cars kicking and screaming as the zoo was closing. Once in the car Talan was asleep before we left the parking lot. He was so tired from his exciting day that while we were unpacking the car he fell asleep under the kitchen table. The next morning Talan woke up and asked me if we could go to the zoo again. I told him that we would go again sometime. He said okay I will go get my shoes so we can go. Talan would go to the zoo every day if he could

Look at ME...

Look at me I saved $22.42 at Wal-mart today. Yeah! My friend recently showed me a site that helps you save money on your groceries and it is written is simple terms. I have tried the coupon thing before but I hated having to go to 8 different stores, especially with a 2 year old. So today I tried out this program, my subtotal before coupons and tax was $39.15, my final total with tax was $16.74. I know that their are others out there that can do much better but I was pround of my 1st attempt.
