Talan got his first fat lip. And no it was not from a fight. We were at Jason's softball game and Talan was running after Jess and just trip over his own feet. Unfountantly agility is not something that runs in our family. I can't even tell you how I cring every time Talan takes off running. On the ride home Jason and I were teasing that tomorow and Talan Preschool open house they would mark in his file to watch for child abuse. While at preschool the teacher asked the kid if they had any boo-boos and how them got them. I am already on the watch list.

Payson Lakes
We went up the the Ponderosa Campground where grandma and grandpa spent the weekend camping.
Grandma brought her metal detector and Talan had so much fun going around the campsite looking for hidden treasure. To bad all we found was a penny and some bottle caps.
Talan wanted to see if he had metal in his head.
Grandma and Talan seeing if they could reach around the huge pine tree.
Me and Talan at the Nebo Loop overlook.
The boys at Devils Kitchen,
It is amazing that we live so close to so many great outdoor spots but we don't take the time to see them.
Talan and Jason couldn't help themselves. They had to take a dip in Payson Lake.
It was so pretty at the Lake. We walked around the whole lake and had a picnic lunch.
Talan just loves the water, he didn't want to get out.
The boys after their swim.
Lincoln just hanging out on a rock watching Talan swim. He keep trying to crawl down to the Lake.
Just playing in the dirt.
Our little friend we found just off the trail.
The views were amazing. This is over looking Utah County.
We went up Nephi canyon to visit Gma and Gpa, who were camping up Ponderosa Pine Campground. We spent the afternoon with them searching for treasure, roasting hot dogs and chatting. We decided to take the Nebo Loop home. We stopped at Devils Kitchen, Payson Lakes, and Maple Lake. I love taking day trips like this with my family. They are the best!
Richfield 24th of July
Jason and Lincoln getting ready to go swimming.
Lincoln loves to go swimming. He has no fear of water which is good and bad at his age. He is always trying to put his face in the water.
Talan did so good swimming by himself at the pool. His swimming lessons are paying off.
Lincoln and Mickelyn playing foot paddy cakes.
We had some water guns and the pool and Talan loved swimming around and squirting everyone with in range.
Lincoln would spend about 10-15 minutes splashing in the pool and then he would fall asleep.I guess the water is soothing.
Cousin Malina helping Talan float on his back. Talan loves to hang out with Malina. I am sure that she is missing her little shadow.
The boys at the pool.
Every year the Christensen's go to Richfield for the 24th of July. We have alot of fun swimming, camping and riding 4-wheelers. We always have tons of food and fun.I brought my camera but for some reason I only took pictures at the pool. I guess I was just having too much fun.
Miller Sports Park
Talan nervously waiting on dad to go and get the tickets from Will Call. He thought that they would start the race before we got to out seats.
The boys waiting for the race to start. Talan's favorite car was the blue formula car.
The race track was so loud.
My favorite car the red Ferrari.
Enjoying the race and wishing it was a little cooler.
Talan and Addy.
Talan thought the Bat-mobile was cool.
Three plus hours of race cars gets a little boring.
We had a fun day at Miller Sports Park. Jason's work gives us tickets a couple of times a year to go out to the races. The kids had fun watching the cars, the pit stops and watching them load the cars in the trailers. It was a fun day in Tooele, however I wish it wasn't soooo hot.
