Easter

We had a good Easter, except for the foot of snow that came down that night. So much for the outside Easter egg hunt. Oh well we made due and still had a fun time. The afternoon before Easter we made Monster eggs, Talan was so excited.
Dyeing eggs was so much easier and less messy this year. I found a great idea in a magazine, instead of the dumb little egg holders that come in the egg coloring box you simple buy some wire whisk and put the egg inside and let the kids dip them. I will never go back the old way.
Talan making sure that his egg are getting enough color. The boys and I cuddled on the sofa to watch "Cars" . They made it about half way through the movie before they both fell asleep.
The Easter Bunny stopped by our house. Talan was not excited about the Easter Bunny. When I asked him if he want the Easter Bunny to come to our house, he said "NO". When I asked him why he said that the Easter Bunny is too scary. I told him that when he comes he leaves an Easter basket with goodies. Talan told me that the Easter Bunny could just leave the baskets at his Grandma's houses.
Lincoln was excited about the Easter grass.
This grass looks good enough to eat.
Say Cheese.
The boys got new Easter outfits. To bad they got shorts. They only got to wear them long enough to have their pictures taken.
Have you noticed that in just about every photo Lincoln has something in his mouth. This is why I have to vacuum 3 times a day! We had our Easter egg hunt in Grandma & Grandpa's game room. Talan found so many eggs and had a great time searching for them.
Eggs were everywhere, in the pool table pockets,
under the bar
Later that day we stopped by Grandma and Grandpa Jones'. Lincoln got a new bunny and Talan got a new puppy.
