Super Bowl Sunday

Super Bowl Sunday is always a favorite at our house. When we were first married we would always hosted a Super Bowl Party. We would have tons of friends over and so much food it wouldn't all fit on our counters. This years party was on a smaller scale, but we had a great day with the boys. Jason making the football squares.
Talan picking out his squares.
Talan helping me pick out my lucky squares. I thought I would at least win one quarter.
Talan drawing out the numbers.
As you can tell our team didn't make it to the Super Bowl this year. Hopefully next year the Raiders will be the big winners.
Talan trying on the mini helmets. One year Jason and a friend bought all of these mini helmets out of a quarter machine at a gas station. I am sure the people at the gas station thought they were crazy. But they make great Super Bowl decorations.
Talan loves to decorate for parties. So we pulled out all of our football stuff and decorated our table. To bad we didn't have any Colt or Saint colors.
Our treat table. The homemade salsa was so good.
Jason and I showing off our envelopes and squares. Whoever won each quarter won whatever was in the envelope. Each person got to put in a service, activity or item of their choice in the envelopes.
Jason won the 1st quarter. So he won a "movie of his choice. Great, this means we are going to the next big action movie. I hope its not to Gorey.
Lincoln slept most of the 1st half, but he woke up in and good mood. He loves this swing but he is getting so big that hardly fits in it.
Jason won the 2nd quarter and a back rub.
For half time we went down and played with the train table.
Lincoln just hanging out watching the game. Check out those chubby checks. He has went from the 38th percentile to the 92nd. That is why we affectionately call him Chubs.
I decided to give myself a much needed pedicure. I love my glitter toes and hope that spring is just around the corner so I can show them off.
Jason winning the 3rd quarter. Lincoln looks about as excited as I feel. I now get to shovel dog poop for the week.)=
Lincoln snacking on his toys

Finally, someone else won besides Jason. Talan won the Final score envelope. So Jason and I are taking him to the park. It would be nice to have some warm weather to enjoy.

We had a great time and were super excited the Saints won. We usually end up rooting for the under dog. Next year will be so fun when the Raiders are the Super Bowl Champs. (Wishful Thinking)

Lincoln at 5 months

Lincoln just turn 5 months on the 5th. He has been a little fuss the last few days we can't tell if he is getting a tooth but it looks like little fang teeth are coming in on the bottom. My kids always seem to get these teeth first. They look like little vampires. He currently weighs 18.6 and is 26 inches long. He is such a happy baby for the most part. He loves to laugh and smile. He can almost roll over but gets caught up on his arms. The last few months have flown by. I can't wait to see how much he changes during his first year. Hopefully he will grow some hair by his first birthday.
