Talan just started swimming lessons and I have to admit that he is doing much better than I thought he would. Until a month ago he would only take a shower becuase he was afraid of the water. Thanks to a cartoon, he was worried that he would get sucked down the drain of the bathtub and so he would only take showers. After two lessons he is alreading jumping in the water and using a noodle to float by himself.

After swimming lessons Talan told grandma that he didn't want to put his face in the water because he didn't want water in his nose, ears and eyes. Needless to say grandma and Talan came back from Wal-mart with googles, ear plugs and nose plugs. Talan couldn't wait to put them on. However, he still will not put his face in the water. Lincoln had to join in the fun.
