Green Tigers

This was Talan's first year playing soccer. He had fun kicking the ball as long as none of
the other kids were around him.
Talan did a great job of kick goals during practice but once on the field for a game he didn't want to kick the ball. I asked him why he wouldn't kick the ball during the game. He told me that he didn't like being kicked or pushed by the other kids.
So Talan spent the games chasing the group of kids up and down the field and waving at the spectators.
Every so often he would pretend to fall. The he would stand up and brush himself off. He would tell us "It's hard work playing soccer."
He is so dramatic.
Talan's favorite part of soccer is throwing the ball in and of course snacks after the game.
Talan's team named themselves the Tigers.
The kids were so fun to watch. The hardest part about soccer is remembering which one is your goal.

Lincoln at the game cheering on his brother.
Talan had a big fan club. Both Grandmas & Grandpas, Jenny, Mom, Dad and Lincoln were at every game. Talan had a great time playing soccer and is already asking when he gets to play again. It will be fun to see how he improves over the years.
Way to go Talan and the Green Tigers!
